Kundalini Yoga

What is Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga originates from the ancient tradition of India, being one of the most mysterious and longest hidden forms of yoga.

It is a set of simple physical and breathing exercises (Kryias) that can be practiced by anyone independent of age or fitness.

Benefits of practice

Despite its mystical background the effects of Kundalini Yoga are clearly seen on the physical level. Its effects are much more holistic than that of traditional physical exercises such as aerobic. Kundalini Yoga works with total you, body, mind and spirit. True happiness and inner peace can only be achieved by harmonious cooperation of all our aspects.

Practice of Kundalini Yoga helps to maintain our bodies in optimal health, improving lungs capacity, metabolism, and the work of nervous, glands, circulation and immunity systems. It helps our bodies to relax and detoxify.

The aim this yoga is directed to is to regulate the circulation of prana (life energy) in our bodies. Its regular practice enables us to know and put under control our unconscious mind, to get rid of old and harmful patterns and suffering from the past that all block us from being present and experiencing "here and now". And most importantly: Kundalini Yoga leads to experiencing and meeting with our true nature and become aware of our true, unlimited abilities.

What do you need

Simple mat and light blanket to cover yourself with during relaxation (in "Bajkolandia" kindergarten there are some mats and blankets that you can freely use). We practise barefoot (but it is not an especially important rule, and if you are cold in your feet you can also practise in socks) in comfortable clothes (preferably natural fabrics)
